In Autumn of 2015, I had the opportunity to photograph an evolving project in Nunavut called Arctic Hope, which has an incredible proactive mission against suicide in the north.

I was not prepared for the huge skies & deep silence. I was not prepared for the overwhelming beauty and the cycle of brokenness. I was not prepared for so much death; I was not prepared for so much life. I fell in love with the land & people of Nunavut.
